Facebook Registers ".cn" Domain Name

SinaTech, 10/31/07

America's second largest social networking site, Facebook, has quietly registered a .cn domain name. From last Wednesday, a search on the China Internet Network Information Center's (CNNIC) website revealed that the domain name facebook.cn had been registered to the company. The company has also registered facebook.com.cn, however visiting that link redirects users to their main website, http://www.facebook.com.
