Publication of IC Industry Development Policy Delayed

At the IC Design Summit held recently in Dalian, deputy director of the Ministry of Information Industry (MII)'s product management division, Ding Wenwu, revealed that in order to meet the financial and taxation policies of the Ministry of Finance, it has delayed the release of a policy document titled "Policies to Further Encourage the Development of the Software and Integrated Circuit Industries" until next year. This policy had essentially passed the final approval stage and had been slated for release on July 1.
