Baidu to Start Recruitment Road Show in HK

Chinese search engine Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) has revealed the itinerary for its recruitment road show. In order to achieve its goal of recruiting the world's top talent, it will head to Hong Kong on November 8, and use Hong Kong as a starting point to focus on universities outside of China. In mainland China, competition with Google over human resources has led Baidu to offer fresh graduates with strong technical skills a starting salary of RMB 300,000 a year.

Baidu's Nasdaq stock price set a new record on the last trading day of last week, reaching a high of USD 409 at the close of trade. This puts its total market capitalization at more than RMB 100 bln.
