180,000 Hainan Households Enjoying DTV

According to China Cable Network, there are currently 180,000 households receiving cable DTV in Hainan province. A number of households in Haikou and Sanya have also started using one-off services for news, sports, and arts programs, as well as interactive games.

A total of 8 counties have fully converted all subscribers to cable DTV and conversions for the remaining 7 counties will be finished by the middle of November. The upgrades for Haikou and Sanya, which have a larger number of subscribers, won't be fully completed until the end of the year.
