Shaanxi Cable TV Network Consolidated Under One Operator

Shaanxi Broadcast & TV Network Intermediary (600831.SH) announced that Shaanxi Radio and Broadcasting Bureau has approved its earlier application to purchase local cable networks in 11 Shaanxi cities for a total of RMB 1.52 bln (of which RMB 64.15 mln was based on the value of future revenues from DTV subscribers), and the provincial backbone cable network for RMB 1.13 bln.
After the consolidation is completed, Shaanxi Broadcast & TV Network Intermediary will be the only cable TV operator in Shaanxi province.
