Kongzhong Launches CBA WAP Site

Kongzhong Corporation (Nasdaq: KONG) and the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA)'s exclusive commercial partner Infront have announced a three-year cooperative agreement. According to the terms of the agreement, Kongzhong will launch and operate the CBA's official WAP site (cba.kong.net). The site will offer live broadcasts of CBA games along with video highlights and related content, and Kongzhong believes the site will be able to generate mobile advertising revenue as well as strengthen the click-rate and reputation of its main kong.net website.

Basketball is one of the most poplar games in China with around 300 mln people playing the game around the country. A total of 16 teams play in the CBA's professional men's league, which is held between October and April.

Kong.net is also the official WAP site partner of the NBA.
