Linktone CFO Resigns

Sina Tech, 1/16/08

Wireless value-added service provider Linktone (Nasdaq: LTON) announced today that its CFO, Colin Sung, has resigned, effective January 31, 2008. Sung will also leave his position as a member of Linktone's board.

Sung will stay on as a consultant to Linktone until the company completes a strategic investment deal with Indonesian media firm PT Media Nusantara Citra. In November 2007 the two companies signed an agreement that will see Media Nusantara Citra purchase existing and newly issued ordinary shares of Linktone to take at least a 51% stake in the company.

Linktone has named deputy CFO Foo Him Tiem as acting CFO.

Sung cited plans to pursue other interests as his reason for leaving.
