China's B2B Market Reaches RMB 1.25 Trillion

According to the Ministry of Commerce, in 2007 China's B2B e-commerce transactions grew by over 25%, reaching RMB 1.25 trln. The extensive involvement of large industry enterprises from the energy, chemical, manufacturing, logistics, and other sectors in e-commerce were the main driving force behind the growth.

A report by Data Center of the China Internet (DCCI) estimates that in the next two years China's B2B e-commerce market will continue to grow, reaching RMB 1.62 trln by 2008 and surpassing RMB 2.1 trln in 2009.
