Linktone Moves Ahead with MNC Deal

Linktone has announced that its shareholders have approved adoption of the acquisition agreement between Linktone and Indonesian media firm PT Media Nusantara Citra (MNC) and the issuance of up to 252 mln ordinary shares to MNC. As previously announced, MNC will also make partial tender in the US for up to 6 mln of Linktone's outstanding American Depositary Shares (ADSs) for USD 3.80 per ADS. Upon completion of the deal, MNC's designees will also be elected to Linktone's board.
