Qihoo Gives Birth to Qikoo

Qihoo has discretely changed its site name and domain name from qihoo.com to qikoo.com. Qihoo president Qi Xiangdong said that an explanation would be provided after the Chinese New Year.

An insider at Qihoo speculated that the change has been made to facilitate the rearrangement of the company's businesses. The domain name Qikoo primarily appears in Qihoo forums and search related services. In addition, the original Qihoo social community Q&A channel, http://jingyan.qihoo.com, will be switched to qihoo.com, indicating that Qihoo is strongly promoting this particular business. Qihoo's 360 Safe Guard site will also be switched to the new domain name 360.cn.

Editor's note: Currently Qihoo.com and Qikoo.com are both online, and feature identical content.
