Baidu Q4 Profits Up 79%

Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) announced today its Q4 earnings as of December 31, 2007 as well as its unaudited 2007 annual results. Q4 operating revenues increased 110.5% YoY, reaching RMB 571 mln; revenues for the whole year came to RMB 1.74 bln, up 108.2% over 2006. Net income for Q4 2007 was approximately RMB 220 mln (USD 30.1 mln), up 79% YoY; for the full year, the figure was RMB 629 mln, up 108.4% from 2006 retained earnings.

Baidu predicted earnings of RMB 533 to 548 mln in Q1 2008, up 93% to 99% from the previous year.
