Rumor: Operator Increases TD-SCDMA Data Card Purchases

Beijing Times, 2/15/08

A TD-SCDMA Alliance member and a research group have revealed that China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) has increased the number of TD-SCDMA data cards to be procured, to a total of 15,000 units. ZTE (0763.HK; 000063.SZ) is to supply 10,000 cards, with Datang providing the remaining 5,000.
