TD-SCDMA Trial Operation May Begin Late February

A China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) source has indicated that trial operation of TD-SCDMA networks in eight cities is due to start in late February or early March. TD-SCDMA demonstrations are underway in outlets in cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, promoting TD-SCDMA applications and services.
