Alipay Loan Service Gets Chilly Reception

Alipay has received no more than 150 applications, only about 110 of which have been approved, for its seller loan service. The service has been available for one month.
Alipay public relations manager Gong Meng stated that the criteria used to determine loan eligibility is very strict and that the number of applications may have been affected by the holiday; there should be a substantial increase following the Chinese New Year.
