Intel Dalian Greenlighted for Use of 65-nm Process

In a recent interview in Shanghai, Kirby Jefferson, general manager of Intel's Dalian plant revealed that the American government has approved the use of 65-nanometer process technologies in Intel's Dalian plant. Intel however has not decided whether to go with the 65 or 90-nanometer process, which is considered to be one or two generations behind Intel's most advanced 45-nanometer process.
