Kong.net Launches Sports Platform

Beijing Evening News, 3/07/08

Wireless portal Kong.net announced its sports marketing strategy for 2008 today, saying that it would create a sports platform incorporating the official mobile sites for the NBA, CBA, and the Chinese national football team, as well as Olympic broadcasts and reporting. Users will also be able to interact and comment in mobile forums.

Kong and the NBA had previously partnered to create the NBA's official mobile site, which now receives nearly 50 mln page views per day. Kong has also attracted the attention and investment of advertisers, with Lenovo and Adidas, among other companies, purchasing ads on Kong.net.
