Google to Start Cloud Computing Cooperation in China

Google CEO Eric Schmidt, during his current visit to China, has announced that his company is to launch a "cloud-computing" academic partnership program.

Google will work with Chinese universities to establish academic partnerships on cloud-computing in China. The first university to take part will be Tsinghua University.

Cloud computing allows computers in remote data centers to work on the same task, boosting their processing power.
