Netease Tech, 4/02/08

According to a Chineseinvestors.com article on "Computer Trends", online game operator The9 (Nasdaq: NCTY) is planning to invest in South Korean game developer G10, a unit of online gaming firm T3 Entertainment, in the near future. Reportedly, The9 would only hold a 12.5% stake in G10 which is valued at USD 350 mln, after its investment of USD 40 mln. USD 22 mln of The9's total investment would go towards a cash-out for original shareholders and management.

According to the report, this investment plan has already been submitted to The9's board of directors and the transaction is expected to finalize in early April. However, companies named in the article have not replied to these reports.
