First Myth II to Begin Open Beta

Chinese software developer Kingsoft (3888.HK) plans to begin open beta testing for its game First Myth II by the end of April. At that time, account registration will be opened and all gamers will be able to enter the game without any restrictions.
First Myth II will be free-to-play, generating revenue through the sale of in-game items. However, in a move that deviates from the traditional free-to-play business model, First Myth II will employ a "credit-card" based system. Similar to credit cards in real-life, players will be able to purchase items first, and pay for them later, or even return them at no-cost if they aren't happy with their purchase. Payments will be allowed in installments, further reducing the burden on players to purchase items.
