WPP Digital Purchases Stake in HDT

WPP Digital, the digital investment arm of WPP, has acquired a minority stake in Chinese rich media advertising and technology company HDT Holdings. HDT's product portfolio includes products for rich media and video ad-serving, contextual targeted advertising and an advertising network with over 200,000 sites delivering 150 mln page views a day.

HDT was founded in 1999 and employs over 270 people in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou.

CA-JAIC China Internet Fund, Chengwei Ventures, Manitou Ventures and Sequoia also own stakes in HDT Holdings.
