Zhejiang Provides PHS Roaming Services

Customer service centers in large cities throughout Zhejiang have confirmed that PHS users within the province can now get roaming service in Anhui. This service will be expanded to Jiangsu and Shanghai next.
Hangzhou Telecom's roaming service costs RMB 0.5 per day in a number-rental fee. It bills all domestic telephone calls at the rate of RMB 0.3 / minute, and connects inbound calls free of charge. PHS users in Anhui coming to Zhejiang face the same cost structure.
At present, Jiangsu and Hunan provinces' PHS users already have cross-province roaming service. A few other regions provide temporary telephone numbers to roaming users, enabling a form of pseudo-network roaming.
