Guangdong Aims for 120,000 TD-SCDMA Users in 2008

Guangdong Mobile general manager Xu Long has revealed that Guangdong currently has 15,000 TD-SCDMA test users, and will increase this number to 120,000 by the end of the year.
"Guangzhou and Shenzhen are rolling out base stations and optimizing their wireless network," Gu Weizhong, director of the Guangdong Communications Administration, has stated. Guangdong Mobile has already invested over RMB 7 bln in improving and upgrading its TD-SCDMA network this year.
