China Telecom Gets Majority of Unicom Huasheng Staff

According to a source at Unicom Huasheng, China Unicom's (NYSE: CHU; 0762.HK; 600050.SH) handset procurement subsidiary, a conference at the Huasheng's headquarters yesterday determined that 50% of the headquarters' staff will transfer to China Telecom (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK), while 50% will remain with China Unicom. All employees at the provincial and municipal levels will transfer to China Telecom.
