Snail Game Secures Funding, Reveals Statistics

Snail Game founder Shi Hai revealed in an interview that his company has completed its second round of funding, with details on investors and listing plans to be announced in August. Shi said that Snail Game made over RMB 30 mln in profits in 2007, and expects profits of nearly RMB 90 mln on revenues of nearly RMB 200 mln for 2008. The company hopes to expand to 4,000 or 5,000 people within the next three years, from its current 600 or 700, more than 400 of whom are R&D staff.
