ChinaEdu, Universities Cooperate on Online Degree Programs

Chinese education services provider ChinaEdu (Nasdaq: CEDU) has announced that it has signed agreements with 8 universities to provide recruiting services for the universities' online degree programs. Currently 68 universities in China have been approved by the Ministry of Education to offer online degrees. The new agreements bring ChinaEdu's total number of online degree partnerships to 20.

The 8 new university partners are: Southwest Jiaotong University, the University of Electronic Science and Technology (Chengdu), Chinese Geology University (Wuhan), Chinese Geology University (Beijing), Northeast Normal University, Beijing Jiaotong University, Fujian Normal University and South China Normal University.
