Guangdong to Support Emerging LCD Brands

The Department of Information Industry of Guangdong Province and the Guangdong Provincial Finance Bureau will invest tens of millions of RMB to support two Guangdong-based manufacturers of LCD products, Samos and Losang. The province will also build a 166,675 square meter "Chinese LCD City" as a platform to support the trade and exhibition of LCD products, components, flat-screen displays and accessories, as well as support research and design in the field.
