Yahoo Koubei Promotes Real Estate Agency Rankings

Yahoo Koubei recently introduced its "A+ Real Estate Listings Plan," under which real estate agents and intermediaries must go through a process of certification and verification. Upon obtaining certification, agents will be allowed to post premium listings in a dedicated section of the site, which would afford free listings and ranking services. Certified users would also have their own 'points' and 'trust-rankings'.

Less than a week after the introduction of the plan, nearly 2,000 members have registered and been certified, and the premium listings section of Koubei has nearly 10,000 listings from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Tianjin, Chongqing and other areas.
