Baidu Issues Search Result Report

Online search firm Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) has recently released a report on beverage-related search queries during Q2. The report reveals different consumer preferences across different parts of China. The most popular beverage-related search query among Beijing's Internet users was "milk products" (31.53%), while the most popular term with Guangdong residents was "tea beverages" (25.84%).

Baidu's statistics are collected from user search queries, and can be used to measure consumer demand.
