China's H1 Software Industry Income Up 30%

On September 8, director Zhao Xiaofan of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT)'s Software Services Department revealed that China's software and data services realized a total value of almost RMB 356.7 bln during H1 2008. Income for the software and services industry was up 30.4% YoY. Software export and service outsourcing totaled nearly USD 5 bln in value, up 45% YoY.
