AOL Unveils Chinese Website

Time Warner Internet subsidiary AOL unveiled a new Chinese-language homepage today headed up by Norman Koo, who will serve as General Manager for the Greater China region. This marks AOL's second attempt to enter the China market.

Koo will be responsible for AOL campaign planning and service strategy for the portal homepage for the Chinese mainland, Taiwan, and Hong Kong regions.

Channels available on the new homepage include News, Finance, Entertainment, Tech, Automobiles, Sports, Fashion, Images, and Videos. In addition to content, AOL is also providing instant messaging, e-mail, and browser toolbar services.
