Sohu, Anhui TV Cooperate on Content Production

Chinese Internet portal Sohu (Nasdaq: SOHU) and Anhui Television have revealed plans to jointly invest in, produce and broadcast television drama programming. Sohu CEO Charles Zhang claims that the extent of cooperation between the two companies is not limited to television broadcasting, but will also cover joint procurement, investment in filming and other activities. Further details regarding the deal were not revealed.
