LeTV Obtains Online Broadcasting Rights to Red Cliff: Part II

The China Film Group Corporation has announced that it has granted online broadcasting rights to Beijing-based online video site LeTV for the John Woo film "Red Cliff: Part II". The two parties did not reveal the purchase price.
In December 2008, filming began in the province of Ningbo for the film "Robot", in which LeTV has invested RMB 100 mln in an effort to make inroads in film industry circles. A connected source stated that LeTV had similar goals in mind when it obtained the Internet rights for "Red Cliff: Part II".
