China Mobile Wins Hong Kong Wireless Broadband License

China Mobile's (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) Hong Kong subsidiary has announced that it has won its bid for a Broadband Wireless Access License in Hong Kong, using the 2555-2570MHz and 2575-2960MHz spectrum, for a price of HKD 494.7 mln. The two other operators to win licenses were Genius Brand and CSL. All three operators are expected to use the spectrum to deploy LTE technology.
