Telstra Acquires Chinese Mobile Content and Music Firms

Australian telecom operator Telstra has announced the acquisition of a 67% stake in Chinese mobile content and services firm Octave Investments Holdings Limited. Octave is comprised of two companies, consumer mobile content supplier ChinaM, which serves 350,000 customers daily, and Sharp Point, which provides technical services for China Mobile's (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) central mobile music platform.
