Chinese social networking site (SNS) Tongxue.com (formerly Faceren) announced it has received USD 6 mln in venture capital, primarily from Tano China Private Equity Fund I (TCPEFI). Tongxue said the funding will be used mostly for product development and brand promotion, and will release a core product, "Tongxue Directory" within the year.
