China Unicom to Sell SIM Cards Online

China Unicom (NYSE: CHU; 0762.HK; 600050.SH) announced today that starting March 15, it will begin nationwide sales of 2G network SIM cards online at www.10010.com. During the testing phase of sales, Unicom will waive card-issuance fees.

In February, China Unicom began testing online sales of mobile numbers in Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Hubei, Sichuan, and Guangdong, with positive initial results.
