Youku Monthly Revenue Increases 900% YoY

Victor Koo, CEO of online video-sharing platform Youku, says the site can now guarantee more than RMB 10 mln in revenue each month, adding that year-on-year revenue growth for the previous month was 900%.
Youku's application to the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) for a license to provide 3G video services is currently being reviewed, Koo said, adding that Youku will not fully develop mobile video applications until 2010.
