Baidu Launches RMB 100 Mln Image Search Ad Promotion

Chinese search engine Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) has announced the launch of a client reward promotion that will see Baidu give away a total of up to RMB 100 mln in image search ads. New clients who sign up for Baidu Search Marketing Services between now and October 31 will receive one free 60-day image ad display valued up to approximately RMB 10,000. Over 10,000 clients are expected to receive ad space in the promotional giveaway. According to Baidu, the promotion is intended to help SMEs diversify their advertising media and try out Baidu's new image search marketing product.
