TCL Sees 145% Jump in Sept LCD TV Sales

Product sales figures from TCL (000100.SZ) show sales of 1.12 mln LCD televisions in September, up 144.7% YoY, with sales in the China region up 276.8% and sales in overseas markets up 67.1%. TCL sold a total of 9.6 mln TV sets during the first three quarters of the year, of which 5.53 mln were LCD televisions - an increase of 105.2% YoY. During the National Day "golden week" holiday period, sales of TCL's "Internet TVs" grew more than twelve-fold.

TCL also sold 1.32 mln mobile phones worldwide in September, up 9.58% YoY, of which 1.11 mln were sold in overseas markets.
