Dangdang Revenues to Reach RMB 10 Bln in Three Years

Li Guoqing, co-president of Chinese online retailer Dangdang.com, has predicted today that in three years' time, Dangdang's total operating revenues will reach RMB 10 bln, of which 50% will come from online general product sales. Li predicted that online book sales this year will top RMB 2 bln. Dangdang figures show that monthly net profits from March to September of this year reached 1%.

Asked about the company's plans to list, Li said Dangdang's target would be a 100:1 price-to-earnings ratio assessment. Dangdang has so far made share buybacks through two rounds of purchases made with its own capital.
