Alibaba Founds New E-Commerce Company

Chinese B2B e-commerce firm Alibaba.com (1688.HK) has announced the establishment of wholly-owned e-commerce education service subsidiary: Alibaba (China) Education Technology Co., Ltd., or AliAcademy for short.

Alibaba senior VP and president of the new company, Deng Kangming, revealed that over the next three years, the new AliAcademy will scale and industrialize e-commerce education, spurring employment of 100,000 people, training for 1 mln people, and aims to gain 10 mln users.
