Baidu Post Bar Plans Moderator Rating System

Baidu's (Nasdaq: BIDU) Post Bar online forum service has announced the launch of a "forum open platform plan," which aims to create a cross-platform moderator reliability rating system between forums. Among the plan's goals are to share credit ratings of moderators on Baidu's Post Bar and other forums, to cooperatively develop industry forums, and to provide exclusive authentication services and use of Post Bar's "Baidu Lighthouse" marketing service. Forums that take part in the platform plan will share in Baidu's Post Bar users and brand resources.
Post Bar will determine credit ratings for forum moderators from third-party community sites who apply through Baidu's online application channel. Moderators wishing to take part will be provided with prompt service, and once verified, will be given priority consideration when appointing moderators for related Post Bar forums. At the same time, Post Bar will actively recommend its own forum moderators to third-party community sites, sharing moderator reliability ratings for forums outside of Baidu.
