CBC Starts CMMB Network Equipment Bidding

DVBCN, 1/14/10

On January 13, the China Broadcasting Corporation opened bidding for CMMB mobile TV transmission equipment. 37 manufacturers, including Nanjing Panda Electronics (600775.SH; 0553.HK), China Potevio, Beijing Tongfang Gigamega, and Shanghai Ruigao Information Technologies took part in the bidding.

This round of bidding primarily involves low-output signal boosters, transmitters, feeder lines, and multiplexer equipment.
