Sohu IT, Baidu Post Bar Form Content, Marketing Partnership

Baidu's (Nasdaq: BIDU) Post Bar BBS has announced a strategic partnership with Sohu's (Nasdaq: SOHU) Sohu IT to collaborate on content, operations and interactive marketing to build an online community targeting consumers of IT digital products.
In the first stage of cooperation, the two parties will share resources and establish a credit system for moderators of Sohu's digital product forum and Baidu Post Bar. Articles on Sohu's IT channel will implement a sharing function, allowing users to post the articles to Post Bar. Sohu IT will also jointly build and operate Baidu Post Bar forums for computers and digital products, home appliances, and handset products, including forums for the iPhone, Android, smartphones, notebooks, netbooks, home appliances, LCD TV sets, e-readers, video cameras and cameras.
The two parties will jointly invest tens of millions of RMB in resources to organize dozens of online events, estimating over 50 mln users will participate.
