Guangyu Huaxia Core Executive to Resign

According to reliable industry sources, Gong Jiao, deputy GM for Beijing-based online game operator Guangyu Huaxia's product, operations, marketing and logistics divisions, has tendered his resignation to the board of directors, and will leave in the next few days, after three years with the company.

Guangyu Huaxia officials have remained silent about the matter. Gong Jiao confirmed the rumor, and added that Guangyu Huaxia would once again postpone its IPO.

Editor's Note: Sina reports that Gong may take up a position at Shanda Interactive's (Nasdaq: SNDA) Mainland Chinese affiliate, Shanda Networking. A source within Guangyu Huaxia revealed that Gong would be joining a Shanghai-based online gaming company.
