British Firm Acquires Chinese Gaming Portal

Tencent Games, 8/23/10

UK-based entertainment company Galleon Holdings PLC has officially entered the China online gaming market with its acquisition of Xiamen-based Qianwang Science & Technology Co., Ltd. and its browser game portal g365.net. Galleon specializes in interactive entertainment and media, including film, television, telecommunications and Internet properties. China region president Yu Peng said Galleon is currently focusing on platform development and recruiting.
