China Mobile: Monthly Mobile Literature Revenue Exceeds RMB 80 Mln

Fu Chenzhou, editor-in-chief of Zhejiang Mobile's mobile literature base, revealed at the 2011 China E-Reader Industry Summit (CEIS) in Beijing on January 9 that China Mobile's (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) mobile literature base receives more than 170 mln average daily visits. The service generates over RMB 80 mln in monthly fees and has had more than 100 mln visitors since its launch.
Fu added that the platform hosts over 600 books that have been viewed over 10 mln times, and more than 40 books that have been viewed over 100 mln times.
