China Unicom (NYSE: CHU; 0762.HK; 600050.SH) chairman Chang Xiaobing said that Unicom would earmark a considerable sum of money to build a regional international communications services gateway in Nanning, the capital of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, to provide voice, data, and internet communications services to China and ten other ASEAN countries.
