Kaixin001 Launches Group Buy Channel, Open Platform

Chinese social networking site Kaixin001 recently launched a group buy open platform as well as its own group buy service. A spokesperson for the company said that Kaixin001 would focus on offering deals that meet user needs and are not yet provided by the company's group buy partners.
The spokesperson said that Kaixin001's group buy service launched in open beta on February 24. Kaixin001's homepage currently features the site's group buy partners alongside its own group buy services. For Kaixin001 users, there will be slight differences in after-sales services between Kaixin001's own service and third-party group-buy services: after-sales services for purchases made from a partner service will be handled by that company's group buy platform, while after-sales services for purchases from Kaixin001 will be handled either by the site's own platform or by the relevant businesses involved.
