LeTao Raises Ad Union Commission 10 Percentage Points

BiaNews, 3/22/11

Chinese B2C online shoe retailer Letao has announced that in March 2011 its online advertising union, Letao Union, will increase commissions from 8% to 18%.

According to a source in Letao's marketing department, Letao Union is shifting its focus to partner with SNS and microblogging platforms rather than individual site administrators. When calculating commission rates, Letao will not deduct shipping fees. If customers use a coupon for their purchase, ad union members can still receive a 3% commission based on the value of the purchase after deducting the value of the coupon.
